Molly Painschab, LCPC, LAC, is a National Board Certified dual-licensed mental health and addiction counselor and has worked in the field since 2005. She is co-chair of the Sugar & Food Addiction Professional Network, co-founder of Sweet Sobriety, co-host of The Food Junkies Podcast, and a member of the Academy of Eating Disorders Substance Use Disorders Special Interest Group.
Molly’s clinical background is in treating mental health, addiction, and trauma within the correctional and judicial systems as well as crisis centers and private practice. She has extensive skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Principles and Restructuring.

In November 2022, Molly and Clarissa Kennedy, RSW launched their online Eating Disorders and Food Addiction Recovery Platform: Sweet Sobriety. Interventions in Sweet Sobriety are evidence-based and are always evolving to stay current with the latest research. This platform offers individual coaching, group coaching, and various workshops to provide bio-, psycho-, socio-, and spiritual tools and support in recovery from sugar and food addiction.
